Hi,

I need to convert a couple of CDRs into DDP. Are the ISRCs and *all* the CD Text preserved? Specifically, the CDRs I have don't have track artist (Red Book optional?) but they do have album artist.

Also - how do I open a DDP image from in GEAR? I tried dragging the DDP image files in but but the CD Text and ISRCs aren't there ...

Any help much appreciated!

Ken

If your optical device supports reading CD-TEXT, ISRC codes, supports C2 error and index scanning, and can read RW subcode, whatever is on the source CD-R will end up in the DDP image.

When converting a CD-R to DDP, you cannot add missing CD-TEXT info. You should create a new Audio CD project, add your audio tracks (from the hdd) and enter all CD-TEXT and ISRC code info and create the DDP from a GEAR project.

You cannot 'open' a DDP - but beginning with GEAR PRO Mastering Edition 8.00 there is a GUI function:

Mastering >> Convert DDP image to CD/DVD disc:
